This is our Aunt Bee's recipe for a really spicy and fragrant steak marinade. Plenty of herbs and spices are used in this steak marinade recipe to add lashings of flavor to the steak. You can halve the amounts if you are only feeding a couple of people or make the full amount if you have more mouths to feed. You can even double or triple it if you are throwing a party or expecting a lot of people over for dinner.
The Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce add the main rich flavors to our Aunt Bee's steak marinade recipe and the assortment of herbs and spices give a really luxurious and aromatic finish, making your steaks taste richer and fresher than any store bought marinade could. This recipe has to be tasted to be believed. It really is amazing.
You can adjust the level of chili powder used if you prefer a milder or more strongly flavored steak. That is up to you, and one of the joys of making your own marinades for beef is that you can make the recipe any way you want to, and not have to rely on something from a bottle to flavor your meat.
