Oregano and Balsamic Marinade for Steak

This is the best steak marinade to use if you want a flavorful balsamic grilled flank steak. You can serve the marinated steak with baked potatoes or rice and perhaps some grilled vegetables on the side. This balsamic marinade for steak contains lemon, oregano, garlic, and onion for flavoring as well as balsamic vinegar for a sharp flavor that contrasts nicely with the other ingredients.

Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, garlic and vinegar are featured in many of the best steak marinade recipes because they go beautifully with the naturally rich steak flavor and bring out the great taste of your steaks every time you make them.

Balsamic Marinade for Steak with Lemon and Oregano

Ingredients -

1 ½ lbs flank steak
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried leaf oregano
Juice of 1 lemon
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil

Preparation:

Combine everything except the meat in a Ziploc bag, seal and shake well to mix.

Trim any excess fat off the steak and add it to the bag.

Turn to coat the steak well.

Refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours, turning often.

Grill the steak over a medium high heat for 5 to 7 minutes per side and slice thinly to serve.
