The flavors of Jack Daniels, Guinness, honey, garlic, cinnamon and more combine to give you a really rich flavored, smoky tasting steak which is sticky and sweet on the outside and succulent and juicy inside.
There are a variety of ingredients in this BBQ steak marinade recipe but everything goes beautifully together to give a delicious steak. This is one of our easy steak marinades because, as long as you have all the ingredients to hand, it does not take long to make. Unused marinade will keep in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Ingredients -
3 tablespoons honey
4 oz Jack Daniels
4 oz peanut oil
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 oz soy sauce
3 teaspoons salt
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce
12 oz Guinness
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Preparation:
Combine the oil, Guinness and Jack Daniels in a saucepan.
Add the Tabasco and Worcestershire sauces.
Bring to a slow boil and add the garlic, salt, pepper, honey, and cinnamon.
Mix well, turn off the heat, and cool to room temperature.
Add steak and allow marinating for 2 hours in the refrigerator then grilling until it is done the way you like it.
