Grilled Steak Marinade with Herbs

Easy steak marinades like this one are ideal if you are not very experienced at cooking meat and you want something simple to start off with. The rosemary and basil in the following grilled steak marinade recipe combine nicely with the garlic, vinegar, and pepper to give a fragrant flavor to your steaks.

Herbs work nicely in the best steak marinade recipes because their aromatic flavor penetrates the meat to offer a delicate herbal hint rather than an overpowering taste. You can double this recipe for larger cuts of meat. Fresh herbs work best in this grilled steak marinade but you can use dried herbs if that is all you have.
