This delicious hanger steak marinade recipe makes one and a quarter cups of marinade, which is enough for one hanger steak. Ingredients -
¼ cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon dried thyme leaves
2 minced shallots
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
⅓ cup vegetable oil
Preparation:
Combine everything in a Ziploc bag and add the steaks.
Alternatively, you can use a plastic container with a tight-fitting lid.
Marinate the meat overnight or for 8 hours.
If you are using a Ziploc bag, turn it often to distribute the marinade evenly.
