Homemade Steak Marinade Recipes for Citrus Steak Marinade

Another of the best steak marinade recipes to try, if you want a really flavorful steak marinade, is the following recipe, which is full of tangy citrus flavors and a little hot sauce for a spicy kick. This Worcestershire sauce and teriyaki steak tips marinade is enough for six people.

You might want to leave the hot sauce out of the following steak marinade recipe if you want something less spicy but the hot kick does go well with the tangy citrus ingredients and the onion and garlic flavors.

Spicy Citrus Steak Marinade with Hot Sauce

Ingredients -

½ cup teriyaki sauce
1 cup Sprite
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
¼ cup dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 Vidalia onion, chopped
½ teaspoon onion powder
3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
3 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 teaspoon hot sauce

Preparation:

Combine all the ingredients in a glass dish, stirring briskly with a metal whisk until the steak marinade sauce is even and smooth.

Use it to marinate rib eye steak, flank steak, T bone steak or even filet mignon.
