Herby Lime London Broil Marinade

This delicious combination of lime juice, garlic, herbs and more is great for London broil steak and you can also use it on flank steaks. This recipe makes quite a lot of London broil marinade so feel free to halve the recipe if necessary.

If you wanted to, you could sauté some sliced fresh mushrooms in the remaining marinade and serve it as a sauce with the steak. If you are going to do that, boil the marinade for five minutes first, to ensure any bacteria from the raw steak are killed. There are quite a few ingredients in this London broil marinade and you can be creative with it, switching the lime juice for lemon juice, or deciding to combine two or three different herbs.
