Bourbon and Orange Marinade for Skirt Steak

This tasty marinade needs to be left on overnight for the best results. If you like skirt steak you will love the following marinade for skirt steak because it is sweet, sticky and tastes divine. Even though this is an economical cut of meat to buy, the results from this marinade for skirt steak are really good and they make the meat flavorful and tender.

It is important to let the meat rest for five minutes before slicing it. This is so that the juices redistribute themselves in the meat. Also, cut the steak against the grain on a diagonal to keep it tender. Three quarters of an inch thick is perfect for the slices. This is an easy recipe but a very impressive one nonetheless.

Magnificent Marinade for Skirt Steak with Molasses

Ingredients -

2 lbs skirt steak
2 tablespoons canola oil
⅓ cup blackstrap molasses
½ cup bourbon
1 cup orange juice

Preparation:

Whisk the bourbon, canola oil, molasses, and orange juice together, and then pour this mixture into a big Ziploc bag.

Add the meat and make sure it is covered in the marinade.

Refrigerate overnight and then grill the steak for three minutes per side or until it is done how you like it.
