Spicy Recipe for Steak Marinade Porterhouse

The cayenne pepper gives this delicious recipe for steak marinade porterhouse a real kick and the red wine, garlic, soy sauce and other ingredients bring out its natural, rich, meaty flavor. This is a wonderful marinade for porterhouse steaks and you can serve the finished dish with sweet potato fries to contrast the flavors, and perhaps a dollop of sour cream too.

You can marinade the meat in this recipe for steak marinade porterhouse for between two and six hours, depending how much time you have. Porterhouse steak is thick and juicy and it is similar to T-bone and tenderloin. Grilling is the best way to cook porterhouse steaks but you can broil or pan fry them if it is not grilling weather.

Red Wine and Cayenne Porterhouse Steak Marinade

Ingredients -

2 porterhouse steaks
1 cup red wine
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Salt and black pepper

Preparation:

Combine the wine, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, salt and pepper and marinade the steaks for 4 hours in this mixture.

Preheat the grill to moderately high and sear the meat for a few minutes to lock in the juices.

Turn the grill down to medium and grill the steaks for 4 minutes or until they are done.
