You can use any kind of rice vinegar you want in this 3 ingredient steak marinade recipe, but if you can find roasted garlic seasoned rice vinegar, that one works especially well. If not, you can add some garlic powder to this marinade to give the flavor a little more depth if you want to. You might also like to throw in some chili powder or finely diced jalapenos.
This easy steak marinade works well with flank steak but you can also use it for pork tenderloins. Use two pounds of meat with the following 3 ingredient steak marinade to feed six people. You can grill, broil, or bake the meat. If you are using flank steak, grilling usually gives superior results because of the smoky flavor it imparts.
Ingredients -
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
¼ cup rice vinegar
Preparation:
Combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey and marinade 2 lbs of steak overnight or for at least 2 hours, turning it over a few times.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes or until the meat is 160 degrees F inside.
Alternatively grill or broil the meat.
