Teriyaki Steak Marinade Sauce

Ingredients -

1 oz dry sherry
2 cups soy sauce
1 teaspoon Accent
3 crushed cloves garlic
1 tablespoon molasses
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger

Preparation:

Put the sugar, molasses, soy sauce, Accent, and dry sherry in a pan and cook this mixture over a low heat.

Keep cooking and stirring until the sugar has dissolved.

Add the ginger and garlic and let the mixture cool.

Put the steak in a Ziploc bag with the cooled teriyaki marinade and shake to coat all the steak.

Marinate for 2 to 4 hours in the refrigerator, discarding the marinade before you cook the steak unless you want to boil it for 5 minutes to make a sauce.
