With the tequila and lime flavors, this gives your steaks the wonderful flavor of Mexico. If you want to make your steaks in advance, you can put them in a Ziploc bag with the marinade and freeze them until you are ready to use them.
Then thaw the steaks overnight in the refrigerator and grill them the following day. This tasty tequila lime marinade gives your steaks a wonderful flavor and grilled or pan fried bell pepper strips go really nicely as a side dish. You can taste the tequila in the finished steaks so make sure you use a good quality tequila, else they will not have a good flavor.
Ingredients -
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
½ cup olive oil
½ cup good quality tequila
¼ cup lime juice
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Preparation:
Mix everything together in a bowl.
Put the steaks in a big Ziploc bag and pour the marinade in.
Seal the bag and leave to marinate for 4 hours.
Broil or grill the steaks.
